Four Roses Premium American Whiskey (1980's Bottlings)

$299.00

Four Roses' origins date back to the 1860s, with the brand trademarked in 1888 by the Paul Jones Company. It continued during Prohibition by acquiring the Frankfort Distillery for medicinal bottling. The current distillery, built in 1910 as the Old Prentice, features Spanish mission-style architecture and reopened in 1933. Seagram acquired it in the 1940s and moved production there. In the early 2000s, Kirin purchased the distillery. At that time, Four Roses straight bourbon was only available for export, while Seagram sold a blended whiskey from their Maryland and Indiana distilleries.
