1980 Bolla Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG

$79.99

Bolla was founded in 1883 by Abele Bolla in Soave, to the South of Verona, starting award-winning wines. His sons expanded marketing with bars in Venice and a second winery in Valpolicella in the early 20th century. The brand gained popularity abroad, notably in the U.S. In 2006, Gruppo Italiano Vino, an Italian wine group, acquired Bolla. Today, the estate spans 900 acres, producing about 10 million bottles annually. Known for Veronese classics like Bardolino, Valpolicella, Soave, and Amarone wines, Bolla is praised by Gambero Rosso for consistent, traditional regional wines.
