1974 Louis M. Martini Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

$89.99

Louis M. Martini founded his Napa winery in 1933 at Prohibition’s repeal, drawn by the region’s unmatched grape quality. Focusing on Cabernet Sauvignon, he built wines true to their place. His son, Louis P., an avid photographer at that time, learned from his father and found ways to incorporate artistry, innovation, and science into their brand through frost-fighting wind machines, superior clones, and California’s first varietal Merlot, later becoming a founding member of the Wine Institute and the American Society of Enology and Viticulture. Today, Zach Watkins continues their legacy, crafting wines with elevated aromatics, balanced acidity, and classic, age-worthy style across multiple vineyards and varietals.
