Garnheath, a grain distillery in the Lowlands, operated for just 22 years before closing in 1986. Initially used for blends, its whisky was later bottled as a single grain by independent bottlers. This 42-year-old grain whisky, distilled in 1974 and bottled in 2016 by Douglas Laing for the XOP collection, matured in a refill barrel. It is a limited edition of 162 bottles.
