Four Roses Half Gallon Blended Whiskey (1967 Vintage)

$1,299.00

The Four Roses brand dates back to the 1860s, with its trademark established in 1888 by the Paul Jones company. During Prohibition, Paul Jones bought the Frankfort Distillery, using its medicinal license to continue bottling Four Roses. The current Lawrenceburg distillery, built in 1910 by JTS Brown & Sons, was later reopened in 1933 and renamed after Seagram acquired it in 1946. This 1967 bottling is from the Seagram era, when Four Roses bourbon was produced exclusively for export, while Seagram's Seven Crown was marketed in the U.S. It was made at Seagram’s Dundalk and Indiana distilleries.
