Tamdhu Distillery, founded in 1897 with involvement from William Grant of Glenfiddich and Balvenie, has experienced multiple ownership changes and periods of closure. Acquired by Ian Macleod Distillers in 2011, the distillery focuses on sherry cask maturation, producing a style recognized for its rich, sherried character.
