Mortlach Distillery, founded in 1823 in Dufftown, Speyside, is owned by Diageo and is known for its complex distillation process, including its distinctive 2.81 distillation method. Its spirit is a key component in Johnnie Walker blends and is also released as single malt whisky.

This 22-year-old single malt scotch was distilled in January 1957 and bottled in April 1979 by Cadenhead’s, Scotland’s oldest independent bottler, at 40% ABV. Produced in a traditional dumpy bottle, it reflects Mortlach’s rich, full-bodied style, often associated with sherry cask maturation.
