1941 Guedes Vintage Port (Prior Evidence of Leaking)

Produced by the historic Guedes Port house in Portugal's Douro Valley, the 1941 Guedes Vintage Port is a rare fortified wine from a single harvest during the challenging years of World War II. Vintage Port is made only in exceptional years and is aged in cask for approximately two years before bottling, followed by decades of bottle maturation. With more than 80 years of aging, surviving examples are prized primarily for their historical significance and rarity, representing a remarkable piece of Portuguese winemaking history from one of the Douro's traditional Port producers.
