The Milroys of Soho commissioned this one-time release of Balvenie 1937, created from a vatting of four casks that produced a total of 500 bottles, with 360 allocated to their London shop. Despite Balvenie’s limited recognition at the time and the rarity of 50-year-old single malts, the release sold out quickly, with some bottles exported internationally, including to Japan. Marketed in 1987 as the highest proof 50-year-old single malt at the time. The label design replicates an early 1900s Glenlivet style.
